He began his career in independent experimental theatre.   

On TV, he frequently played energetic, rude and vigorous characters. "Duelo de Pasiones” (1968), “Alondra” (1995), “La Mentira”(1998) and "Un gancho al corazón” (2009). In 2010, he had an award-winning role in the melodrama “Soy tu dueña”, and also participated in “Tres veces Ana” (2016).  

He has won five TvNovelas awards and he has received Bravo Awards, Heraldo Awards, Estrella de Plata Awards and Diosas de Plata awards for his career.    

He became involved in politics through the PAN (National Action Party).
