Synopsis:


Gunter, a grumpy old man, becomes a mentor to DJ, a rebellious teenager, with whom he shares the story of Maximilian Kolbe. Maximilian Kolbe was an extraordinary human being who was ahead of his time, using tools such as the press and radio for his mission. His charitable work around the world was admirable, but he was imprisoned in Auschwitz, where he gave his life for another prisoner. This remarkable story is told from a modern perspective, focusing on Gunter, who recounts it to teach DJ that there is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends.
